Return, Exchange & Refund Policy
Our Individually Crafted Artwork Model
ArtDogs sells artwork expressed through apparel and other physical media. Many ArtDogs pieces are individually crafted for their future owner after the order is placed rather than pulled from conventional mass-retail inventory. A garment carrying a particular artwork has substantially more limited resale potential than a plain stocked garment. For that reason, we do accept returns under limited circumstances, but our return and exchange conditions are necessarily stricter than those of conventional mass-produced apparel retailers.
Please contact ArtDogs before sending anything back. Do not return a product directly to a production facility. Returns must be reviewed and authorized by ArtDogs so we can determine the appropriate resolution and return destination.
When ArtDogs or Production Is at Fault
If you receive the wrong product, a materially defective item, significant print error, significant construction defect, or verified transit damage, we will review the issue and make it right. Depending on the circumstances, remedies may include repair, reimbursement for an approved local repair, remake, replacement, store credit, partial refund, or full refund.
Contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours and no later than 7 days after delivery, and provide your order number, a description of the problem, and clear photographs. We may request additional photographs, measurements, packaging photographs, or a physical return when necessary to evaluate the issue.
Preference-Based Returns & Exchanges
Change of mind, fit preference, or selecting the wrong size does not automatically qualify an item for a free return, exchange, remake, or refund. However, ArtDogs may authorize a return or exchange on a case-by-case basis. Approval can depend on the condition of the piece, its resale feasibility, production status, applicable costs, and other circumstances.
Unless we approve otherwise, a preference-based return must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in the condition in which it was received, with original packaging and tags when applicable. The customer may be responsible for return shipping, replacement production, reshipping, or other nonrecoverable costs where permitted by law.
Sizing
Please review the product-specific size information before ordering. Because ArtDogs artwork pieces are made for the individual order, an incorrectly selected size is different from a manufacturing sizing defect. If you believe the item was produced outside the stated sizing tolerance, contact us with photographs and measurements so we can review it.
Normal Artistic & Production Variation
Reasonable variation is part of reproducing artwork on fabric and other physical media and is not necessarily a defect. Examples can include slight differences in color caused by screens, lighting, materials, inks, or printing processes; reasonable differences in artwork placement; and minor dimensional or handmade production tolerances. We will still review any variation that appears materially different from what was represented or makes the product unusable.
Lost or Delayed Packages
If a shipment appears lost in transit, contact us promptly. We may need to open an investigation with the carrier before determining the resolution. A lost package does not necessarily require the original product to be refunded if an appropriate replacement or other remedy is available.
Incorrect Addresses, Refused & Unclaimed Shipments
Orders returned because of an incorrect or incomplete customer-provided address, refusal, or failure to claim the shipment are reviewed individually. When reshipment is available, the customer may be responsible for the additional shipping cost. Refusing an international shipment because of customs duties, taxes, or other destination charges does not automatically create a right to a refund.
Returned Items & Responsible Reuse
ArtDogs seeks to avoid unnecessary destruction or disposal of wearable artwork. When a returned, undeliverable, or otherwise non-resalable garment cannot reasonably be repaired, returned to sale, or returned to the customer, ArtDogs may, where appropriate and legally permitted, donate the garment to a charitable or community cause or responsibly recycle it. Donation is not guaranteed and will depend on the garment's condition, hygiene, suitability, applicable requirements, and the availability of an appropriate recipient organization. This practice does not alter whether a refund, replacement, or other remedy is due under this policy.
Gift Cards & Gifts
Gift cards are non-returnable except where required by law. Proof of purchase may be required for any return. For eligible gifts, any refund or credit will be handled according to the original transaction and applicable payment rules.
Sale Items
Sale or promotional pricing does not eliminate rights relating to defective, damaged, or incorrect merchandise. Preference-based returns of sale items may be restricted or declined unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase or required by law.
Return Shipping
Do not mail a return until ArtDogs provides authorization and instructions. For approved preference-based returns, return shipping is generally the customer's responsibility. For verified ArtDogs, production, or fulfillment errors, we will determine an appropriate return or replacement arrangement. For higher-value returns, we recommend a trackable shipping method and appropriate insurance.
Refund Processing
Once an approved refund is issued, it will generally be returned to the original payment method. Financial institutions and payment providers may require additional processing time before the credit appears. If a refund appears overdue after it has been confirmed by ArtDogs, first check with your bank or card provider and then contact us at info@artdogs.co.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Contact us immediately if you need to change or cancel an order. Production may begin shortly after purchase, so cancellation or modification is not guaranteed. If production has already begun, the order may be non-cancelable or the customer may be responsible for costs already incurred. If production has not begun and cancellation is possible, we will process the appropriate cancellation and refund.

Email info@artdogs.co and include your order number, a clear explanation of the issue, and photographs when the concern is visible. We will review the circumstances and advise you of the available resolution and, if applicable, return instructions.
Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer-protection law.
